Description

The MMS 250 Reich Multi Mont Sella Coupling Element Set is the OEM flexible element set for the MMS 250 torsionally flexible claw coupling. Six saddle shaped rubber elements seat between the claws of the two coupling hubs, transmitting torque while absorbing torsional shock and vibration and compensating for axial, radial, and angular shaft misalignment.
Elements are the wear component in a claw coupling and are replaced on a service interval or when backlash develops. On the Multi Mont Sella design, sliding back the bolt-on retaining cap lets the full set be changed radially, so neither the driving nor the driven machine has to be moved off its mounts.
