Lovejoy 11E Coupling Sleeve

The Lovejoy 11E Coupling Sleeve is an elastomeric insert element for Lovejoy S-Flex series flexible couplings. The S-Flex coupling system uses a two-piece jaw hub design with a replaceable elastomeric sleeve that transmits torque while providing torsional damping and misalignment compensation.

Lovejoy S-Flex couplings are widely used in industrial applications including compressors, pumps, conveyors, and general power transmission equipment. The 11E sleeve is sized for the Lovejoy size 11 S-Flex coupling, with the “E” indicating the EPDM rubber compound. Different sleeve materials are available for various operating conditions – EPDM for general purpose, Hytrel for higher torque, and Neoprene for oil resistance.

The 11E sleeve is a direct replacement that slides into the existing S-Flex jaw hubs. During replacement, inspect both jaw hubs for wear on the jaw profiles. Clean the hub bores and verify that the new sleeve seats fully before reassembly. Check alignment between the connected shafts.
