The distinction between VN 350 variants matters – each disc tire configuration is tuned for a particular combination of torque capacity, torsional stiffness, and damping characteristics. Installing the wrong variant can result in inadequate vibration isolation or excessive coupling temperature, both of which shorten coupling life and can damage adjacent drivetrain components.

Stromag Periflex VN couplings use a plug-in design where the disc tire slides axially into the connection ring. This allows element replacement without moving the engine or driven equipment. During installation, ensure the tire teeth engage the connection ring over their full length and verify the axial gap between components.
