The ACT6WN Reich OEM Drive Coupler is a Reich Arcusaflex coupling element from the ACT6 series with WN hub specification. This elastomeric coupling element provides torsional vibration damping for heavy-duty industrial compressors, generators, and pump drive systems.
The ACT6 series sits in the upper range of the Arcusaflex product line, handling the torque demands of large diesel and electric drives. Reich Arcusaflex couplings use a proprietary elastomer compound that maintains consistent damping characteristics across a wide temperature range, making them suitable for both indoor industrial installations and outdoor equipment exposed to seasonal temperature extremes. The WN hub configuration determines the shaft interface geometry and must match the existing installation.
When replacing the ACT6WN element, separate the hubs, remove all remnants of the old elastomer, and inspect hub teeth for wear patterns that indicate misalignment. Install the new element per the Reich specification and verify the axial hub gap before startup.
