The ACT6UN Reich OEM Drive Coupler is a Reich Arcusaflex coupling from the ACT6 series featuring the UN hub configuration. This coupling is designed for high-torque industrial applications requiring reliable vibration isolation between the driver and driven equipment.
Industrial equipment running ACT6-sized Arcusaflex couplings includes large air compressor packages, centrifugal pump drives, and generator sets where the power source delivers substantial torque at speeds that demand effective torsional damping. The Arcusaflex design uses an elastomeric element that transmits torque through a series of lobes that engage with matching profiles on both hubs. This design allows the element to be replaced without disturbing the shaft alignment by simply separating the hubs axially.
The ACT6UN element is specific to the UN hub configuration. Verify the hub type before ordering. During installation, ensure the element lobes fully engage both hub profiles and that the specified axial gap is maintained between hub faces.
