A21802C-335-ELEM Cornell Pump OEM Drive Coupler

The A21802C-335-ELEM Cornell OEM Coupling Element is the replaceable rubber insert for the A21802C-335 drive coupling used in Cornell centrifugal pump platforms. This is the flexible element only – the component that absorbs torsional vibration between the prime mover and pump shaft.

The A21802C element is sized for Cornell’s larger pump frame installations where sustained torque loads are demanding. In mining dewatering, municipal lift stations, and high-volume agricultural irrigation, these pumps run for extended periods under heavy load. The coupling element degrades faster under these conditions, making regular inspection and proactive replacement important maintenance practices.

Replace the element when inspection reveals surface cracking, hardening, permanent deformation, or a noticeable increase in vibration at the pump. Clean both hubs, verify their condition, and install the new element per Cornell’s procedure. Confirm alignment and vibration levels after startup.
