Description

The 250024-470 Sullair Coupling is an OEM coupling for portable air compressor drive applications. It connects the engine flywheel to the compressor airend shaft, transmitting torque through a flexible rubber element that absorbs the torsional vibration and shock load generated at startup and under changing load.
Drive couplings are wear items. Once the element hardens or cracks, vibration and misalignment pass straight through to the bearings, shafts, and seals around it. This is the factory component, dimensioned to fit the original mounting without modification.
