PS2780W (PS2780W) OEM Drive Coupler

The PS2780W is a Stromag Periflex-style coupling specified for industrial compressor and equipment applications. This coupling variant is an alternative configuration within the PS27 coupling family, offering a different element compound suited for specific operating conditions including elevated temperature environments.

Stromag Periflex couplings are engineered for diesel engine drives where the flywheel-mount disc design provides effective torsional damping. The PS27 family serves portable compressors and industrial equipment from multiple OEM manufacturers. The “80W” variant addresses applications where standard elastomer compounds may not provide adequate service life due to operating temperature or chemical exposure.
