438 222-2.2 Stromag OEM Coupler

The 438 222-2 Stromag OEM Drive Coupler is a Stromag Periflex shaft coupling used in industrial compressor, generator, and pump drive applications. Stromag’s 438 series identifies specific Periflex coupling configurations matched to particular equipment platforms and torque requirements.

Periflex shaft couplings use a rubber-fabric tire element that provides high torsional flexibility while accommodating angular, radial, and axial shaft misalignment. This coupling type is engineered for diesel engine drives where firing-pulse vibration must be dampened before reaching the driven equipment.
