48HE-6.5 OEM Drive Coupler

The 48HE-6.5 OEM Drive Coupler is a Bowex HE-series flexible coupling element designed for industrial power transmission in compressors, pumps, and rotating equipment. The HE-series uses a high-performance elastomeric element to provide torsional damping and shaft misalignment accommodation.

Bowex HE couplings are engineered for applications that demand reliable torque transfer under continuous-duty conditions with minimal maintenance. The elastomeric element in the HE design absorbs startup torque spikes and dampens the oscillating forces from reciprocating or combustion-driven power sources. These couplings are specified on European-manufactured compressor packages, pump skids, and generator drive systems where the equipment designer selected Bowex for its predictable performance characteristics and compact installation envelope.

The 48HE-6.5 drops directly into existing Bowex 48HE hub assemblies. During element replacement, separate the hubs, remove all remnants of the previous element, and inspect hub teeth for wear or damage. Reassemble with proper shaft alignment confirmed before startup.
