Description

The MT840 John Deere Flywheel Coupling is an OEM flywheel coupling for John Deere mowers. A reinforced nylon flange bolts to the engine flywheel and engages the mating hub, transmitting engine torque to the driven shaft while compensating for misalignment.

Couplings are wear items. Once the flange wears or cracks, vibration and misalignment pass straight through to the bearings, shafts, and seals around it. This is the factory component, dimensioned to fit the original mounting without modification.
