Description

The 36063378 Doosan / Bobcat Coupling is an OEM coupling kit for Doosan and Bobcat engine-driven equipment. The flexible rubber element mounts at the engine flywheel and carries torque to the driven machine, absorbing the engine’s torsional vibration and the shock loading of startup and shutdown before either reaches the driveline. The element also takes up misalignment between the two sides, so neither the engine nor the driven unit carries a load it was not designed for.

Couplings are wear items. The rubber element hardens and cracks with heat, hours and load, and once it stops flexing the vibration it was absorbing carries straight into the bearings, shafts and seals downstream. Replacing the coupling on schedule costs a fraction of that repair. This is the factory component, dimensioned to fit the original mounting without modification.
