Description

The Reich Arcusaflex ACH4SN Coupling is an OEM highly flexible coupling for internal combustion engine drives. A rubber disc element carries torque between the engine and the driven machine, and cam teeth around the element engage matching teeth inside the coupling flange to give backlash-free transmission with generous axial float. The 75 Shore A element is rated 1550 Nm nominal and 4200 Nm maximum, and it absorbs torsional vibration, limits peak torque into the driveline, and compensates for misalignment between the two shafts.

Coupling elements wear out. Heat, running hours and load stiffen the rubber until it cracks, and a hardened element stops doing the one job it has – every torsional pulse the engine makes then travels into the driven machine’s bearings, shaft and seals. Replacing the element on schedule costs a fraction of that damage. This is the factory component, dimensioned to fit the original mounting without modification.
