PH116 Para-Flex OEM Drive Coupler

The PH116 Para-Flex OEM Drive Coupler is a Dodge Para-Flex tire-style coupling element rated at 4,470 in-lbs of torque and 4,050 RPM maximum speed. This natural rubber element fits PH116 and PF116 size Dodge Para-Flex coupling assemblies used across a broad range of industrial power transmission applications.

Dodge Para-Flex couplings are a standard in industrial plants, found on everything from compressor drives to conveyor systems to pump installations. The tire-element design accommodates up to 1 degree of angular misalignment and absorbs torsional shock loads that would damage rigid couplings. The PH116 uses a 2517-series Taper-Lock bushing system for reliable hub-to-shaft connection without set screws. When the rubber element wears, operators see visible cracking at the flex points and feel increased vibration at connected equipment before the element fails completely.

The PH116 element slides into existing Para-Flex hub assemblies. Inspect both flanges for wear at the element contact surfaces, verify bushing torque, and check shaft alignment before returning equipment to service.
