22509681 Ingersoll Rand OEM Drive Coupler

The 22509681 Ingersoll Rand OEM Drive Coupler is an OEM coupling for Ingersoll Rand portable compressor and equipment platforms. This Bowex-style coupling handles the engine-to-driven-component connection through a curved-jaw design with an elastomeric spider element.

Bowex-style couplers are specified in IR equipment where the compact jaw design suits the driveline packaging. The spider element transmits torque while providing torsional damping. When the spider wears, the jaw mesh develops play that causes vibration and noise.

The 22509681 is a direct OEM replacement. Inspect jaw profiles and replace the spider element during service. Align per IR’s specifications.
