The 02250048-344 Sullair OEM Drive Coupler is an OEM spider coupling element for Sullair portable and stationary air compressors. This is the elastomeric spider insert that sits between the coupling jaws, providing torsional damping and torque transmission in a jaw-type coupling assembly.

Spider coupling elements are common in smaller Sullair compressor platforms. The spider absorbs engine or motor vibration while transmitting torque through the interlocking jaw profiles. When the spider wears, it develops play in the jaw mesh that causes increased vibration and noise. Replacing the spider restores tight coupling engagement and smooth operation.

The 02250048-344 is a direct OEM replacement. During replacement, inspect both jaw halves for wear on the jaw profiles. Install the new spider per Sullair’s procedure.
