Description

The 88221089 Sandvik Coupling is an OEM coupling for mining and construction equipment. Its flexible elastomer element connects the driving and driven shafts, transmitting torque while absorbing the torsional vibration and shock load that occur at startup and under changing load.

Couplings are wear items. Once the element hardens or cracks, vibration and misalignment pass straight through to the bearings, shafts, and seals around it. This is the factory component, dimensioned to fit the original mounting without modification.
