48 FLE-PA 215.8 BoWex Coupling

Description

The 48 FLE-PA 215.8 BoWex Coupling is an OEM flange coupling for engine-driven equipment. A glass-fiber-reinforced nylon flange bolts to the engine flywheel, and a curved-tooth hub on the driven shaft plugs axially into it, giving a torsionally rigid, maintenance-free drive connection.

Couplings are wear items. Once the flange teeth wear or crack, vibration and misalignment pass straight through to the bearings, shafts, and seals around it. This is the factory component, dimensioned to fit the original mounting without modification.
