36017648 Ingersoll Rand OEM Drive Coupler

The 36017648 Ingersoll Rand OEM Drive Coupler is an OEM coupling for Ingersoll Rand portable air compressor platforms. This coupling serves the engine-to-airend connection in IR portable compressors used in construction, industrial, and field service applications.

The 36017648 provides torsional vibration isolation between the diesel engine and compressor airend. As a wear item, the coupling element degrades from torsional fatigue, heat cycling, and environmental exposure. Inspect the coupling at every scheduled service interval and replace when cracking, hardening, or deformation is visible.

This is a direct factory replacement. Clean all shaft surfaces, inspect hub condition, and align per IR’s specifications during installation.
