250004-638 Sullair OEM Drive Coupler

The 250004-638 Sullair OEM Coupling Element is a replacement elastomeric element for the drive coupling in Sullair portable air compressors. This is the flexible insert component only – not the complete coupling assembly with hubs.

Element-only replacement is the standard approach when the coupling hubs remain in serviceable condition but the elastomeric insert has deteriorated. In Sullair portable compressor service, the coupling element is the first component to show wear – cracking, hardening, and deformation from sustained torsional load and heat exposure. Replacing just the element restores the coupling’s vibration damping at a fraction of the cost of a complete assembly.

During replacement, inspect both hubs carefully for scoring, corrosion, or bore wear before installing the new element. Clean all mating surfaces and reassemble per Sullair’s procedure. Verify alignment and vibration levels after startup.
