02250208-584 Sullair OEM Drive Coupler

The 02250208-584 Sullair OEM Drive Coupler is an OEM Bowex-style coupling for Sullair portable air compressors. This curved-jaw coupling uses an elastomeric spider element to transmit torque between the engine and airend while providing torsional damping in a compact package.

Bowex-style jaw couplings are specified in certain Sullair portable models where the compact jaw design fits the driveline layout better than a larger disc-style coupling. The spider element is the wear component – it transmits torque between the interlocking jaw profiles while absorbing vibration. When the spider deteriorates, the jaws develop play that causes vibration and metallic contact noise.

The 02250208-584 is a direct factory replacement. Inspect both jaw halves for profile wear during spider replacement. Install per Sullair’s service procedure.
